Mazda: Winner of the 2016 Car Guide’s Best Buy Award

On the occasion of its 50th edition, the Guide de l'auto 2016 chose Mazda as the Best New Car of the Year for the MX-5 and with the CX-3 winning Best New SUV of the Year. This is the first time the Car Guide has awarded the same manufacturer these two awards of excellence.

These awards are very important for Mazda, as the manufacturer is working to develop models that meet drivers’ needs while constantly innovating. It should also be mentioned that the captivating designs of these two new vehicles was welcomed by leading industry columnists. 

BEST NEW CAR OF THE YEAR

In addition to being awarded the title of Best New Car of the Year, the MX-5 convertible also won the title of Best Buy - Convertibles and Roadsters less than $ 50,000. The Guide wrote, "No other car even came close to the MX-5 in being honoured as Best New Car of the Year".

And what about the CX-3, about which the Guide wrote, "A star is born. In this case, the CX-3 is so superior in every way, there was no doubt that it would win. Based on judging in each of our categories, it was the clear winner."

In addition, it’s noteworthy that the CX-3 and CX-5 were elected Best Buys − Sub-Compact SUV and Compact under $40,000 respectively.
